"Zoorotica"--- apparently valentine's day is romantic for all of God's creatures!
ZOOROTICA: A Valentine’s Day to Remember!!
When: Saturday February 14th
Where: Binder Park Zoo (Michigan)
Time: 2:00 to 5:00 pm
Costs: $50 per couple.
Reservation must be made by February 10th, 2009 by calling the zoo office at 269-979-1351 Monday thru Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tired of the same old dinner and a movie on Valentine’s Day? Do you want to surprise your special someone with a unique, exciting and educational experience that neither of you will ever forget? Then join Binder Park Zoo on February 14th for a special “ZOOROTICA” tour and learn about the love lives of the scaly and slimy, the furry and fanged, and the feathered and flighted.
The tour runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a special presentation and hors d’oeuvres. Cost per couple is $50 and reservations must be made by February 10th, 2009 by calling the zoo office Monday thru Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Experienced and unabashed staff will lead you on a tour exploring the sexual lives of animals. Biting, clawing, scratching and mid-air acrobatics, animals have a way of reproducing that can be beautiful and brutal at the same time! The love tour will end with hors d’oeuvres and a special DVD presentation. Each couple will receive a small gift to commemorate their experience! This is an adults only event and participants must be 21 years or older.
Want to make the day even more memorial? Surprise your special someone with an animal adopt in their honor. Adoptions are just one way to help support the Zoo and a special way to remember your “ZOOROTICA” tour at the Zoo.
Looking for more? The Holiday Inn of Battle Creek is offering participants of the “ZOOROTICA” tour a special discounted overnight stay for $129. Other packages are available that include overnight room, late check out at 2:00pm, champagne or sparkling grape juice, rose petals on the bed, chocolate dipped strawberries, and dinner for 2 in the Cereal City Grill with a special Valentine’s menu. Aaron Burr
Our Christmas party (see previous entry) was on the "Jersey Side" at the Bolliers. Their place is less than 100 yards from the sight of the famous duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr... more politely know as The Interview at Weehawken. While Bryant can state various facts about this famous duel, I can only think of my favorite "got milk" commercial...
