Continental Divide

What do you get when you meet an overly friendly biker from Seattle on Independence Pass?
How did they know I was coming? Hey-Oh!

Aspen

Every morning we got breakfast from the best... Paradise Bakery. (we may have stopped by in the afternoons too)
The Maroon Bells:
The Grottos: (and some people find it fun to sing "In the Grottos" to the tune of "In the Ghetto".... over and over again.)
How does a market go from just a market to A MARKET? It has a booth that serves kettle corn straight from the cooker into a bag this big!
We love a good gondola ride to the top of Aspen Mountain.

The Holtons Part 2

We got to cheer Kelly on in a swim/run race! She totally dominated!
The Lees went over to Beaver Creek and rode the lift to the top for lunch. Bennet loved the lift ride!
Look at this rockin' crew!
TROUBLE!

The Holtons Part 1

We are loving our visit in Edwards, CO with the Holtons. Kelly and Michael are old friends of ours (from growing up and from Camp Ozark). We finally got to introduce Miss Bennet to their beautiful kids- Baby Kate and Knox.
Knox and I built a tower as high as his nose.
He quickly rammed it with his truck.
Bennet got to swing for the first time. I'm not sure if she liked it or not... what do you think?

Breckenridge Part I

We met up with Cappy and Marmee in Breck. We've spent most of our time outside (when the sun is out) and on the couch (when it's not).

Colorado

After camp, we met Bryant (post-bar domination) in Dallas to drive to Colorado for 3 weeks. We survived the roadtrip:
Bennet spent most of her time laughing and talking to the baby in the mirror...
Train tracks are the coolest...
Texas/New Mexico...

Volcano in New Mexico...
First stop, Breckenridge with the Lee's.

Camp

While Bryant was rocking the bar exam last week (wahoo!), Bennet and I drove (ran away) to Mt. Ida, Arkansas- the home of Camp Ozark. As one would expect, we played hard and had the best time ever...
Swimming at the waterfront (with Aunt Friddy (Angela))...
Dancing in the chow hall...
Walking around (and cheering for the Osage Tribe)...
Loving the great Ouchita Mountain views...
And what's camp without THE BLOB?!...
I may have had more fun on the bumper boats than Bennet did...
We even got to play with our friend Cooper Schultz...
Bennet loved dressing up for all the special events (hanging with the big kids on Christmas night)...
My first visit to Camp Ozark was 22 years ago. It was so special to show Bennet around the greatest place on earth! She has already signed up her cabin-mates for 2017.
