Mac Girl

I am officially a MAC, not a PC. After retiring my 7 year old 17" widescreen Dell laptop (miss you old buddy) on Sunday, I have been wallowing in the greatness that is my new MacBook Pro- and my free ITouch that came with it. I think this is going to take The Lee Family Adventures to a whole new level.

I would love to share with you all my first big project... a slideshow of my recent production of Pirates of Penzance in Houston. I love IMovie! Seriously, poor Peanut is going to have her own line of one-woman shows by age 6 mos.

So, please enjoy my first MacBook project.

Breaking the News

I do not think we mentioned how we broke the news of Peanut Lee to our families...

It was quite the challenge to schedule a trip to Texas knowing when all family members would be in their respective hometowns. So after some serious scheduling we were able to surprise them all... communicating through a t-shirt! We will probably use a bigger font next time as reading glasses are not always easily accessible.

40 Years!

We recently lost a beloved member of the Lee clan, Barry's mustache! He first grew his mustache while a crazy bachelor at Rice and there it has stayed for 40 years. This summer marked the end of an era as the entire Lee Family (Kathy included) saw Barry's upper lip for the first time! We applaud the new look but look with loving eyes and hearts upon the memories with Barry's mustache!

Sarah Grace Zucker was born August 2.

What is a "Hankbein"???

Hankbein: Any room of the SMU Chi-O house that contains a Tricia Hanks and a Sarah Langbein. No other combination of roommates can result in a Hankbein. Daughters of founding members are automatic Hankbeins.

David's First Day

My CBIL (current-brother-in-law), David, started at Rice University today. He is well on his way to being Dr. Lee--- well, getting his MBA anyway.

He's got his hand sanitizer and is ready for class!

Barry is passing his Rice Owl torch down to his son, his legacy.

I still cheer for the SMU Mustangs!... and my CBIL!!!
