Park Dates: April-May (as soon as it was warm enough)

Tomorrow, our friends, The Mansfields, are moving from NYC back to their home state of North Carolina (copycats). The Mansfields lived on the East Side (ahem) and it was always an adventure trying to get from our place to theirs and vice versa. So, we met in the middle... we would stroller (in our matching bugaboos... please) Miller and Bennet to the halfway point in Central Park.
Yes, Ida would tag along too... thus why Bennet and I had to leave 20 minutes before Tracy and Miller. This shot was taken on Ida's final Central Park walk... any stone bridge served as a perfect lookout point for short basset hounds.

Bennet's Baptism: May 9

Bennet was baptized on May 9, Mother's Day. She was a total champ... took a power nap and woke up just in time for the event. She wore the gown that my sister and I wore when we were baptized. It was such a blessed day with family and friends (oh yes, the Texas troops were there).
(all of the mothers)

(thank you Travis for all of the beautiful picturesbeing our official photographer)

The celebration brunch afterwards was at Landmarc in the Time Warner Center. Bennet drew quite the crowd of friends!
And what would a NYC celebration be without Magnolia?...

We are back!

Coming to you from Houston, Texas... the Lees survived the past month. There is lots to catch up on, so enjoy the next couple of weeks of "rewind" entries.
This is when we knew we were officially back in Texas.
