Easter

We had an amazing Easter! We went to an Easter egg hunt with friends on Saturday and Bennet learned what this "egg hunt" was all about. By Sunday, she had strategies and a play book ready to go.

Bennet was OBSESSED with the Easter bunny. It appears we have come a long way since meeting Santa at Christmas.

We dyed our own eggs Saturday...

After church and lunch, we had another hunt in our back yard. This time, there was a basset hound to help. Ida would follow her nose to one and stand guard until Bennet got there. When she found them all, she dumped out her basket and threw the eggs so that she could go "find" them again.

Zoobilee

The Houston Zoo recently had an after hours "members only" event. After we made it past the bouncer and the velvet ropes, The Lee's, Di Bellas, and Zuckers got to experience what all the zoo had to offer.

Bluebonnets

Spring Sundays

These last few Sundays have been absolutely beautiful! Bennet LOVES spending time with her "dada" after we get her from the nursery at church.

As I watch Bennet grow up, there are certain moments that just "get me." Maybe it's when I realize how "big" she has gotten. Maybe it's when I am watching her do things that I remember doing when I was little (walking with my Dad after church). Maybe it's when I see how much joy she has... inside and out. I don't know... but these pictures capture a few of those moments for me!

A Day with Marmee and Cappy

Bennet got to spend a whole day with Marmee and Cappy while Marmee was on Spring Break! They spent the morning at the Japanese Gardens in Hermann Park. They also rode the zoo train. What a beautiful spring day in Houston!

Dog Park

Noah, Bennet, Sarah and I took Sydney and Ida to the dog park. It was quite the adventure... Ida walked around and whined a lot, and Sydney played with other dogs twice (maybe 3 times) but mainly sat on the bench next to Sarah and I. We decided to document this special event.
