Catch-Up Part XI: Surprise

Over the weekend of January 7, I met up with all of my girlfriends from NYC in Dallas. Over the past few years, we all have spread out over the country (Atlanta, GA - Houston, TX - Durham, NC - West Point, NY - Dallas, TX - NY. NY) so it was wonderful to see everyone! The main purpose of the reunion was to throw a surprise baby shower for our friends Shannon and Travis.

Everyone made it to town safely- and the surprise went off without a hitch.

On Saturday, we had the official shower at Breadwinners (i ruv that place), and we spent the rest of the weekend catching up and spending time together! It was pretty much the greatest!

Tracy brought her daughter Charlotte- so Beth and Charlotte got to play together. You may remember that Bennet was good buddies with Charlotte's brother, Miller, in NYC. Miller and Bennet were born 2.5 weeks apart, and Beth and Charlotte followed suit being born 2.5 weeks apart too!

Catch-Up Part X: Bennet's First Dentist Appointment

Soooooo nobody told me that I would have Bennet in a full body hold as she screamed her way through her teeth cleaning! Afterwards the Dr. said she did a really good job... really?!

Catch-Up Part IX: More Dallas

The Trains at Northpark. VERY cool.

A visit to Jerry World/Cowboys Stadium.

Bennet helped Teeve with the dishes.

We went to a movie with Nonny. Arthur Christmas was so great!

Beth rocked the Bumbo for the first time... with lots of encouragement and support.

Bryant and I went to a Jackopierce concert for New Year's Eve.

And would a trip to Dallas be complete without french kissing Aunt Uma on the face?!

Catch-Up Part VIII: Christmas in Dallas

We made it to Dallas on Christmas Eve... and the activities began immediately.

We went to Christmas eve service (we clean up good).

Nonny's Dinner had santa hat desserts! yum!

Teeve read "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" to the girls. When we were growing up, he used to read it to my sister and I every Christmas Eve. This book was given to my sister on her first Christmas in 1976.

Then, Christmas morning was energy packed. Bennet's first move was confiscating Bryant's "Bennet for Senate" shirt.

Happy first married Christmas Uma and Coo-Coo.
