Bryant and I drove out to the Hudson Valley Wine Country... only about 1 1/2 hours outside the city... and visited a few vineyards along the Shawangunk Wine Trail (who knew?).Brotherhood Winery

On the way back to NYC, we took the scenic road: Route 9W. It follows the Hudson River all the way home.
