For Whom the Bell Tolls

From Toledo I took the Megabus to Chicago and met up with Sara Zimmer Cordell and Kristin Klungvedt. The reason for such a reunion: The Wedding of Tricia Anderson and Brendan Bell. What a celebration indeed!
Chi Omega's galore and, not to mention, some serious SMU Mustang pride!!! Featured in the above photo we have Iota Alpha pledge classes ranging over 30 years: Marybeth Anderson, Laura Moran, Laura Moran's mom, Julia Stump Morrison, Alyson Cooper Averitt, Kristin Klungvedt, Sara Zimmer Cordell, and the new Mrs. Tricia Anderson Bell.
Sara and I took advantage of our "day of the wedding" morning in Chicago. We began the day with and architecture boat tour of Chicago (yes, that is what the cool tourists do). We learned all you could ever know about the buildings of Chicago--- my most celebrated was the new hotel the guy who won the first apprentice is building for Trump, Oprah's building, and the very cool Lyric Opera House. We shopped along Michigan Avenue and visited exotic stores like Banana Republic and ended our day with high tea at the Drake Hotel. The food was amazing and we both made excellent tea flavor selections--- if i do say so myself.
